SMS Management and Technology was appointed the Program Management Partner to a major telecommunications organisation to deliver a refresh, replace or upgrade of its core system and associated business processes.

Working in partnership with SMS on the Project, M&T Resources provided over 200 IT and business contractors in the first 12 months, with a 5 day ‘days to hire’ average, i.e. 5 business days from the vacancy being released to the client making an offer of employment. At its peak we had over 250 contractors on the project and a range of responsibilities across the program.

This large-scale program involved a very large number of component parts i.e. multiple systems, a new integration fabric, extensive data cleansing and migration exercise and then to deliver those changes to a completely restructured organisation.

Major re-design work was undertaken, and our success is attested to by the ‘on-time’ and ‘ahead-of-budget’ status of the project.
