M&T Resources complies with the Private Employment Agents Act 2005. We do this by maintaining the following:
 
Ethical practice – We are proactive members of the Information Technology Contract & Recruitment Association and ITCRA and adhere to the association’s Code of Conduct.

Candidate rights – We provide all candidates with the Information Statement relating to the Private Employment Agents Act 2005 in order to establish the candidates’ rights.

Standards enforced – We further provide a detailed induction manual to all of our contractors agreeing to the standards and obligations of both parties.

Fees agreed– All fees relevant to a candidate seeking work and conducting work via our agency are formally agreed to via our employment contract.

Records management – M&T Resources maintains a detailed archive of all contact, employment and financial instances with all candidates.

Interviewing candidates – prior to interviewing candidates, each candidate signs a Collection Statement which outlines our obligations and commitments in relation to recording and storing their personal information.

Reference checking process – referees are contacted only with explicit permission of candidates. Details of the reference check are only referred to clients when referees give express permission for this to occur.
