SUMMARY:Behavioural Engineering; The New Science of Engineering Behaviour Change at Scale
DESCRIPTION:Join us at a breakfast event led by People of Influence – a consultancy dedicated to bridging the gap between strategy and execution by equipping organisations to answer one question: “How do you get the absolute best out of your people?” \nDue to overwhelming response the event will now be held at the ivy Sunroom to allow for greater attendance. \n\nOrganisations the world over are trying to transform or evolve their cultures to be more collaborative\, innovative\, productive\, resilient and agile. Essentially\, more competitive. This requires behaviour change on a mass scale and yet almost all attempts within organisations to achieve behaviour change fail. Miserably. It can be quite frustrating and perplexing. \nHowever\, through the lens of behavioural economics and behavioural science more broadly\, this is hardly surprising. \nMany national governments are starting to engage ‘nudge units’ (inspired by the Nobel Prize-winning world of Thaler and Sunstein) to nudge the behaviour of citizens for good. Similarly\, technology companies are engaging in an arm’s race of making products addictive and ‘behaviourally sticky’ by drawing on a related body of research. However\, the insights of behavioural science have yet to be deployed to influence the behaviour of employees within organisations to any significant degree. \nThis represents a massive opportunity for forward-thinking executives who want to get the absolute best out of their people. \nThe good news is that People of Influence has spent the last few years developing an approach we call ‘behavioural engineering’. And we are ready to start talking about it. \n\nSpeakers:\nShaun Kenny\, Director\, People of Influence \nShaun Kenny is one of Asia Pacific’s most in-demand speakers and educators working with over 100 audiences and tens of thousands of people every year. An economist by training\, Shaun translates the latest insights of behavioural economics and neuroeconomics into practical tools that professionals can use for immediate impact. \nMichelle Rushton\, Director\, People of Influence \nMichelle Rushton is a speaker\, trainer and coach in all aspects of the development of leaders and potential leaders. With over 15 years of experience with tens of thousands of people\, Michelle has designed and delivered award-winning behaviour change and leadership development programs for our key clients across the Asia-Pacific region. \nLinton Chalmers\, Principal Consultant & Facilitator\, People of Influence \nLinton Chalmers is an experienced consultant\, facilitator and speaker\, having worked across a diverse range of industries in over twenty countries. He has spent thousands of hours on his feet in front of groups\, and successfully led numerous large-scale client engagements resulting in demonstrated performance uplift.
