We are seeking an experienced Identity Specialist to support the delivery and enhancement of enterprise wide Identity and Access Management capabilities within a large and complex organisation. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the successful design, implementation, and ongoing optimisation of identity services that support secure access, governance, and compliance requirements across the business.

This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a significant cyber security and technology transformation program, working across multiple workstreams including identity architecture, platform modernisation, access governance, privileged access management, and Zero Trust security initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
– Lead the design and architecture of enterprise identity platforms, including IAM, IGA, and PAM solutions.
– Develop and maintain strategic roadmaps to support the evolution and maturity of identity management capabilities.
– Provide technical leadership and act as the SME for identity-related initiatives and projects.
– Deliver hands-on engineering, configuration, and integration activities across identity platforms and connected business applications.
– Collaborate with infrastructure, security, network, and endpoint teams to support modern identity and Zero Trust outcomes.
– Oversee technical delivery activities undertaken by internal teams and external delivery partners.
– Develop and maintain architecture artefacts, technical designs, operational procedures, and as-built documentation.
– Support the transition of identity solutions into operational support environments.
– Work closely with cyber security and architecture teams to define future-state identity capabilities and standards.
– Provide expert advice and guidance to business and technology stakeholders on identity and access management best practices.

About You
You will bring strong experience as a Principal IAM Architect, IAM Technical Lead, or Senior Identity Engineer working across complex enterprise environments, with the ability to drive technical outcomes while engaging effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.

Essential Experience
– 8+ years’ experience across Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity – Governance and Administration (IGA), and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
– Demonstrated experience in architecture, engineering, and technical leadership roles.
– Proven experience delivering end-to-end identity solution implementations within large and complex environments.
– Experience designing and implementing enterprise identity controls aligned with business and security requirements.
– Strong understanding of identity lifecycle management, access governance, authentication, and privileged access concepts.
– Experience transitioning technology solutions into operational support and BAU environments.
– Exposure to highly regulated environments with strong security and compliance requirements.
– Experience working with security frameworks such as NIST, ASD ISM, Essential Eight, SOCI, and Zero Trust principles.
– Excellent stakeholder engagement, vendor management, and influencing skills.

Highly Regarded
– Experience delivering identity transformation or modernisation programs.
– Exposure to critical infrastructure, utilities, government, financial services, or similarly regulated environments.
– Enterprise architecture or cyber security certifications.
– Experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and delivery partners.
