Senior Business Analyst

We are seeking experienced Senior Business Analysts to join a high-performing team supporting the delivery of nationally significant digital health initiatives.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale digital transformation programs, working closely with internal stakeholders, technical teams and external software vendors to support testing, analysis, quality assurance and business improvement activities.

About the Role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting conformance and quality activities across complex technology solutions. You will be responsible for analysing business requirements, developing and assessing test cases, facilitating testing activities, documenting outcomes and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
You will work independently under limited direction while contributing to strategic initiatives, continuous improvement activities and high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, review and assess test cases and test specifications.
• Conduct and support conformance, quality assurance and testing activities.
• Analyse business processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce accurate documentation, reports and testing outcomes.
• Manage stakeholder relationships across business and technical teams.
• Identify, assess and manage project and operational risks.
• Support project planning, delivery and governance activities.
• Facilitate workshops, discussions and issue resolution activities.
• Contribute to business improvement and change initiatives.
• Ensure quality outcomes through strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Demonstrated experience as a Senior Business Analyst or Senior Analyst.
• Strong understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies.
• Experience developing, executing and reviewing test cases.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication and facilitation skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience conducting quality assurance, compliance or auditing activities.
• Knowledge of risk assessment and risk management methodologies.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Visio.
• Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.

Highly Desirable

• Experience within healthcare, digital health or health technology environments.
• Experience working with government organisations or large enterprise environments.
• Testing, quality assurance or conformance testing experience.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications.
