This is a critical role for an experienced Network Engineer to join this renowned financial services organisation on the lower North Shore.

Working as part of a close-knit networking team, you will be responsible for all facets of network engineering, with the aim of ensuring smooth connectivity with the firm’s new and existing clients. This includes low latency connectivity; point-point connections, and network data.

• Plan, Build and Implement networks to support customers
• Manage a portfolio of dynamic network projects
• Engage with clients to ensure a smooth network
• Troubleshoot networking issues as they arise
• Travel to client sites around Sydney to set up new connectivity points

This is a permanent role working on a shift roster between 7am and 9pm. There is also a need to provide occasional 24/7 support on a rotating basis.

• Broad experience as a Network Engineer
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP
• Linux and Windows skills
• Experience within AWS cloud
• Python scripting would be an advantage
• Experience in a data centre would be ideal
• CCNA or other certification would be desirable
• Excellent customer service skills
