The Role
M&T Resources is seeking a Principal Cloud Engineer with strong Azure and integration experience to design, develop and support cloud-based solutions for a renowned energy client.
Key Responsibilities
In this new initial 6-month contract role, you will:
- Develop and support cloud solutions using Azure Functions and App Services.
- Build and maintain REST APIs and integration services.
- Work across Azure API Management and messaging platforms.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Monitor and troubleshoot production systems using Application Insights.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers and business stakeholders.
- Contribute to code reviews and promote development best practices.
Skills & Experience
To be considered, you will have:
- Strong Azure experience across Functions, APIM, Service Bus, App Services, Key Vault and Application Insights.
- Development skills in C#, .NET, REST APIs and SQL Server.
- Experience with enterprise integration, RabbitMQ, Service Bus and event-driven architecture.
- An understanding of cloud security and authentication, including OAuth2, certificates and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
This is an initial 6-month contract and high chance of extension.
