We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support a major digital transformation initiative focused on reviewing current technology capabilities, identifying future-state requirements, and providing strategic recommendations to support long-term business and service delivery outcomes.

This role will work across business and technology teams to assess current systems, engage stakeholders, conduct market research, analyse business requirements, and support executive decision-making through the delivery of key strategic artefacts and recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment of current systems, business processes, reporting capabilities, strengths, limitations, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Capture, analyse, and document business, functional, and solution requirements.
• Develop process maps, future-state business processes, operating models, and capability frameworks using recognised business analysis methodologies.
• Conduct market scans and industry research to identify contemporary technology solutions and best-practice capabilities.
• Facilitate workshops and consultations with a broad range of stakeholders across business and technical functions.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and evaluate solution options against business requirements and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with business, technical, and architecture teams to assess solution alignment with existing and future technology landscapes.
• Liaise with vendors and solution providers to analyse product capabilities and assess suitability.
• Assess business impacts, organisational change requirements, risks, and implementation considerations.
• Contribute to project planning, governance activities, executive reporting, and strategic program initiatives.

Essential Experience

• Proven experience delivering business analysis services on large-scale digital, technology, or business transformation initiatives.
• Demonstrated ability to prepare high-quality business cases, options papers, reports, presentations, and governance artefacts for senior executives and steering committees.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Experience gathering and documenting business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Strong business process analysis, operating model design, and requirements management capabilities.
• Experience working within Agile project environments and contemporary project delivery methodologies.

Highly Desirable

• Experience supporting business reform, transformation, or change programs.
• Experience working within complex service delivery environments.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for requirements and delivery management.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and integrated enterprise platforms.
• Experience assessing solutions involving complex integrations and sensitive information management.
• Understanding of organisational change management and enterprise architecture principles.
