Service Transition Lead
Location: Sydney NSW
Contract: Sydney

A leading government organisation is seeking an experienced Service Transition Lead to manage the smooth introduction of new and changed ICT services into operational environments. This role is hands-on and works closely with project teams, operational teams and key stakeholders to ensure services are fully prepared, supported and ready for go-live.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the transition of new or changed services into Production
  • Develop and oversee operational and support models
  • Ensure all operational artefacts, documentation and handover activities are completed
  • Review service design to ensure contracts, resourcing and maintenance are in place
  • Build effective relationships across IT and business teams
  • Maintain accurate records and attend relevant boards and forums

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong experience in service transition and operational readiness
  • Ability to identify risks, resolve gaps and escalate complex issues
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
  • Understanding of both agile and waterfall delivery environments
