Our client, an innovative SaaS company, is looking for a people-focused Software Development Manager to lead a Lean/Kanban team delivering a standardised product that drives real-world impact across industries. In this stabilising phase, your primary focus will be mentoring, supporting, and enabling the team. You’ll foster a collaborative, high-performing environment, work closely with offshore developers, and ensure the team thrives while preparing the business for investment and future growth. This is a role where you can mentor your team, shape architecture, and help turn customer needs into real-world solutions.

What you’ll be doing:  

• Leading a small, dedicated software development team using Lean and Kanban principles.
• Managing and mentoring people.
• Working daily with offshore development teams.
• Staying hands-on in the leadership side of delivery.
• Building strong relationships with customers and keeping their needs at the heart of every decision.
• Bringing structure and calm.

What you bring:

• Experience leading software development teams.
• Strong senior dev background (Azure + Microsoft stack ideal).
• Solid understanding of architecture, design patterns, secure coding and CI/CD.
• Ability to review and guide technical designs.
• Practical Lean/Kanban/flow delivery experience.
• Calm, fair leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Experience in SaaS environments and aligning tech roadmaps with business goals.
