We are seeking a UX Designer to join our clients Digital program. You will play a key role in researching, designing, and delivering exceptional customer and user experiences for large Govt. projects
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, you will apply user-centred design principles to improve business processes and achieve impactful outcomes. This role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Digital Portfolio Team to design and maintain digital products.
- Conduct user and customer research to inform design decisions.
- Apply UX/UI design methodologies across discovery, ideation, testing, and iteration.
- Support usability, accessibility, and user acceptance testing.
- Maintain design documentation and facilitate workshops.
- Stay current with best practices in UX, UI, and accessibility.
About You You have formal training in service design, UX, or UI design and bring extensive experience in:
- Designing solutions for digital products and services.
- Managing design systems in Figma and strong UX knowledge across iOS, Android, and desktop.
- Information architecture, responsive web design, and typography.
- Familiarity with Digital NSW design standards and frontend technologies.
- Planning and conducting UX research.
- Using tools like Jira, Confluence, and SharePoint.
