Cloud Engineer – Azure
Our client is a leading professional services firm, and they’re currently seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to join their Sydney team.
Reporting to the Head of Infrastructure, your primary focus will be on Microsoft Azure, and you’ll be heavily involved in designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructures (IaC), particularly using Terraform.
You will work across a broad range of global cloud initiatives, and your key tasks will include:
- Design, architecture & deployment of Azure
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Monitoring & observability
- Security & compliance
This is an amazing opportunity for a talented Azure specialist to join this established team and build a long term career. Note that you’ll also have a secondary focus on AWS projects too.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Extensive Azure Cloud experience
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with Terraform
- Experience in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines
- Skills in Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or AWS Code Pipeline.
- Solid understanding of monitoring and observability tools
- Azure Monitor, SCOM, SolarWinds
- Supplementary experience with AWS would be ideal
- Excellent stakeholder engagement skills
