As a Principal Engineer, you’ll shape the technology direction on greenfield projects, as you define architectural patterns, and draw on your full stack technical skills to deliver high-performance, secure, and customer-centric digital experiences.

• Partner with data engineers, architects, cyber security, and operational teams to design secure and scalable data flows.
• Drive the simplification and modernisation of data controls, lineage, and governance frameworks.

To be successful in one of these role your skills should include:

• Extensive relevant Data Engineering capabilities
• Skills with internal data platforms, data engineering, & enterprise data products
• The ability to influence senior stakeholders
• Designing & delivering data pipelines and data governance frameworks
• Legacy data platforms and restructuring
• Understanding of data architecture and data lifecycle management
• Cloud platforms, modern data stacks, and regulatory compliance in data environments.
• Proven background in financial services or similar regulated environments
