Senior Business Analyst (Risk)

The Role:

A new opportunity has become available for an experienced Risk-Focused Business Analyst to join a high-impact Risk Maturity Uplift Program designed to enhance risk maturity across the business. This is a long-term contract based in Brisbane. 

This isn’t your typical BA role—you’ll need to navigate a dynamic, evolving environment, applying a risk lens to complex organizational change. As part of a multi-year program, your work will directly uplift risk capabilities, update policies, assess skill gaps, and ensure alignment with evolving regulatory and industry standards.

Main Responsibilities

• Gather, define, and document business and functional requirements
• Identify and manage dependencies and risks across the program 
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings
• Support the development of an enterprise risk profile and framework uplift
• Ensure regulatory obligations and industry practices are embedded 
• Conduct gap assessments and capability reviews across business units

Key Skills Required:

• Extensive BA experience 
• Previous experience uplifting an organization’s risk management framework
• Strong understanding of risk and compliance practices in regulated environments
• Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Experience in risk and issue management, RAID tracking, and risk assessments
