A large Federal Government agency is seeking multiple Software Engineers  to join their transformation program. These roles sit within a high-performing digital delivery branch focused on building innovative, secure, and accessible systems that support key national initiatives.
You will work on mission-critical applications, using cutting-edge technologies across cloud, DevOps, and modern frontend frameworks in a collaborative agile environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop complex APIs using Golang, JavaScript/TypeScript, leveraging REST and GraphQL architectures
• Develop and deploy applications in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)
• Build and maintain containerised applications in Docker and Kubernetes, using Helm
• Write accessible and high-performance web applications using React and TypeScript
• Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitHub/GitLab, Artifactory, and Vault
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (BA, QA, Designers, DevOps) throughout the SDLC
• Contribute to technical design, documentation, code reviews, and testing
• Ensure compliance with security and WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with React Native or other mobile frameworks
• Strong skills in Postgres/MySQL administration and deployment
• Solid understanding of the full SDLC, from design to maintenance
• Automated testing experience across unit, integration, and functional layers

You Must Have:

• Australian Citizenship (mandatory)
• Baseline Security Clearance (minimum required)
• Proven track record in complex federal or enterprise environments
• Ability to work in NSW with a hybrid work arrangement (minimum 3 days onsite)
