Job Description 
As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer specialising in firewall deployment and implementation, you will play a key role in maintaining the security and operational integrity of one of Australia’s largest banking institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and upgrade network hardware, systems, and software.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance network and security performance through ongoing analysis, reporting, and optimisation.
• Proactively assess and mitigate risks across all aspects of network operations.
• Secures network system by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access

Essential Requirements

• Strong F5 Load Balancing design, build and implementation experience (F5 – LTM, GTM, APM, AS)M
• Strong hands-on and recent experience with firewalls (Juniper SRX, Checkpoint, Fortinet)
• Configure, implement, and analyse events related to IPS/IDS policies.
• Effectively engage with stakeholders, translating business needs into clear technical requirements.
• Ability to think about and solve complex networking problems – this will suit someone who enjoys solving problems and getting into the detail
