Our esteemed financial services client has a strong brand name and a solid reputation, and as part of their growth strategy they require a Head of Platform to join their Sydney team.

This is a  brand new role, and as a key member of the Equities business you play a critical role in managing the organisation’s core equities platform.

With a leadership team of 6 reporting into you, you will oversee the transformational change and the operation of the technology platform, and you will be responsible for ensuring the system is secure, low-latency, and resilient.

This role provides a great opportunity to combine your proven IT Service and Operations Management, Delivery skills, operational controls and technical skills to successfully plan, execute, deliver and run critical business services for the organisation and its customers.

  
To be successful, you will need…

Experience operating critical complex platform as a service technologies within a corporate environment is essential, as is proven leadership experience in managing low-latency, mission-critical technology platforms in a regulated environment.

Excellent leadership, project management, ITSM, and communication skills, with the ability to manage complex technology initiatives are also essential. Equities or Capital Markets experience would be very highly regarded.
