The client
  
M&T Resources is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to join our client’s digital transformation journey on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a high-profile organisation, playing a key role in the successful delivery and adoption of a new technology platform.
  
The role
  
As a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst, you will lead the transition from Jira Service Desk to Jira Service Management. This pivotal role will focus on mapping current (‘as-is’) and future (‘to-be’) workflows, identifying process improvement opportunities, and supporting a smooth, effective implementation that enhances both service delivery and the user experience.  You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to analyse end-to-end business processes, embed best practices, and help design and drive the successful adoption of a streamlined Jira Service Management solution.
  
Key Responsibilities:
  

  • Map, document and analyse ‘as is’ workflows across all in-scope teams, identifying inefficiencies and consulting with process owners
  • Design ‘to be’ workflows aligned with Jira Service Management functionality and business needs
  • Actively contribute to the planning, execution, and delivery of in-scope projects
  • Prepare reports and presentations on project progress, risks, and recommendations
  • Ensure solutions align with broader business objectives and user experience goals
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and senior management to maintain transparency and engagement
  • Perform business and data analysis to support decision-making and system design

  
In addition, you will have:

  • Bachelor’s level qualification or equivalent experience working in a related field
  • Previous BA experience working on digital transformation projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other project management tools such as Jira
  • Proficient in Atlassian products, Jira and Confluence for Project Management and Jira Service Management
