Andrea Fernando

Andrea Fernando is a Recruitment Consultant at M&T Resources in Brisbane. Andrea is originally from Sri Lanka and has been in Australia since 2022.

Andrea found her feet in Australia and recruitment not long after she arrived. Starting out in the engineering sector, Andrea is new to IT recruitment and joined M&T with the goal to diversify her skillset in a new industry.

Andrea loves the opportunity to build relationships with candidates and get to know them and is driven by her own personal values of ‘integrity’.

“I’m a strong believer in doing the right thing even when no one is watching. I love learning new things, working with others to solve challenges, and seeing the real-world impact of what I do.”

Spending time with her Husband and Cat, going the cinema, shopping, and checking out the newest cafes and restaurants with friends is how Andrea loves to spend her weekends. Except in the lead up to Christmas when she goes turns festive mode on and switches her attention to decorating her house from top to bottom – a family tradition that she intends to uphold!
