About the Role
Our client is seeking a proactive and technically skilled Data and Reporting Analyst to join their People & Culture (P&C) team
This role is pivotal in supporting business-as-usual (BAU) reporting functions while the core team transitions people data onto a newly acquired platform.
As the Data and Reporting Analyst, you will manage the day-to-day reporting and analytics operations, ensuring data quality, consistency, and stakeholder satisfaction.
You will work with a variety of tools, including Tableau, Alteryx, and Jira, and ideally bring experience in Workday and Python.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage existing P&C reports, primarily built in Tableau, ensuring ongoing accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Take ownership of the team’s front-door request system, managing approximately 10–15 data/reporting requests per week.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to fully understand reporting needs, validate data accuracy, and communicate insights in a clear and accessible way – including to non-technical and C-level audiences.
  • Troubleshoot reporting issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain and improve workflows using Alteryx (experience managing ~70–80 workflows preferred).
  • Leverage Jira to track, manage, and prioritise work requests.
  • Use existing documentation as a reference and continuously enhance process clarity where needed.
  • Engage with enterprise-wide stakeholders, providing actionable insights that support HR and business functions.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Strong experience using Tableau for data visualisation and reporting (mandatory).
  • Proven experience managing workflows with Alteryx.
  • Proficient in Excel and data validation techniques.
  • Experience with Python for data manipulation (advantageous).
  • Experience working with Workday, especially its reporting capabilities is a bonus.
  • Working knowledge of Jira for task and request tracking.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; able to work autonomously.
  • Ability to communicate data-driven insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders and executive audiences.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.

Desirable Experience

  • Previous experience working with people/HR data and a solid understanding of HR operations.
  • Background in large, complex enterprise environments, with an ability to navigate cross-functional relationships and reporting needs.
