The Role
M&T Resources is currently seeking an experienced hands-on Desktop Support Technician to ensure smooth operation of user systems and desktop environments.
This 6-month contract role is Perth based, close to public transport links.
Skills and experience
Your main duties will include:
- Providing helpdesk support and resolve technical issues
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripherals
- Supporting onboarding/offboarding: set up accounts, provision and reclaim equipment
- Maintaining IT asset inventory and ensure device compliance (Intune, GPO)
- Monitoring building access and support security policies
- Documenting solutions and share knowledge
You will also possess:
- 3+ years in desktop support or similar role
- Experience with Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure
- Strong troubleshooting skills and PowerShell scripting a plus
- Good understanding of networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, firewall)
- Clear communication and ability to work independently or in a team
