About the role
Our client is looking for a Disaster Recovery Analyst to join their collaborative team.
As a Disaster Recovery Analyst you will be responsible for planning, developing, and maintaining the organization’s disaster recovery and business continuity strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and update disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity plans.
- Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for potential disruptions.
- Coordinate regular testing and simulations of DR procedures.
- Work with IT and other departments to ensure backup systems are effective.
- Respond to incidents and help manage recovery efforts during disruptions.
- Maintain documentation and compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Continuity, or related field.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery planning and risk management.
- Expertise around Business Continuity Planning (BCP)
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with backup systems, cloud solutions, and IT infrastructure.
