The client
We are seeking a dedicated ICT Support Officer who is passionate about technology to join our client’s team within the western suburbs.
Working within a close-knit team, you will be the friendly, capable first point of contact for all things technical.  This is an initial 3-month contract with potential for extension.
  
The role
In this new role, you will provide courteous, efficient, and professional technical support to our client’s users. You’ll handle incoming requests, troubleshoot issues, and escalate when needed—all while gaining valuable experience in a dynamic IT environment.

Skills and experience
You will be responsible for the following:

  • The first point of contact for IT support—via phone, email, or ticketing system
  • Logging, triaging, and managing support requests to ensure timely follow-up
  • Troubleshooting basic hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of computers, peripherals, and AV/meeting equipment
  • Helping manage user accounts and access (e.g., password resets, account creation)
  • Supporting Microsoft Office, Windows OS
  • Maintaining IT documentation and the asset register

You will also possess:

  • An excellent communication skills and pro-active attitude
  • A good understanding of Windows OS, MS365 and Active directory
  • Prior experience in an IT support/ help desk role.
