Network Operations Support Officer – Federal Government Contract
Location: Parramatta, NSW
Type: Contract | 40 hours per week
Clearance: Baseline Security Clearance required (or ability to obtain)

We’re seeking a Network Operations Support Officer to join a major federal government client, playing a key role in maintaining the integrity, performance, and security of enterprise-grade communication networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide Level 1 network support and resolve connectivity issues.
- Support Cisco VOIP systems including Call Manager, Contact Centre Express, and Unity.
- Configure Cisco routers/switches and monitor network performance.
- Troubleshoot Wi-Fi issues across Cisco and Aruba infrastructure.
- Assist with advanced network technologies (Cisco ACI, SD-WAN, ISE, F5 Load Balancers).
- Work closely with field support teams, engineers, and external vendors.
- Maintain technical documentation and ensure SLA compliance.
- Participate in a rotational on-call roster for after-hours support.
About You:
- Proven experience in network support (LAN/WAN, Cisco platforms).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and familiarity with enterprise telephony and A/V conferencing.
- Experience working with both wired and wireless infrastructure.
- Ability to coordinate with vendors and resolve hardware/firmware issues.
- CCNA or CCNP certification preferred (not mandatory).
- Willing to travel to remote sites as needed.
Requirements:
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident, or NZ Citizen
- Must be eligible for a Baseline Security Clearance
- National Police Check and Reference Checks required
