We’re working with a major NSW Government department on a critical SAP asset management implementation, and we’re seeking a skilled Project Engineer to provide essential engineering and asset management expertise. This is a key role ensuring that infrastructure assets like tunnels, bridges, and ferries are accurately represented and maintained in the new system.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with SAP project teams to align system design with engineering requirements
• Define and structure asset hierarchies, functional locations, and equipment data
• Review, validate, and support work management processes (preventive and corrective maintenance)
• Assist with system testing (including UAT), defect resolution, and data validation
• Engage internal stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure operational alignment
• Contribute to training documentation and change management communications

About You:

• Engineering background in civil, structural, mechanical, or related discipline
• Experience with asset-intensive infrastructure (e.g., transport, utilities, or similar)
• Strong understanding of asset and maintenance workflows
• Familiarity with SAP (or similar EAM/CMMS systems)
• Confident in stakeholder engagement and process validation
• Strong documentation and testing support skills

Please note: This role is based in South Windsor and requires a minimum of 3 days per week in the office.
