About the role:
Our client is looking for a Salesforce Cloud Infrastructure Automation Engineer to be a part of a dynamic and passionate team. You will play a pivotal role in managing environments that support Salesforce platforms. You will be instrumental in developing applications and scripts that facilitate the repeatable and automated provisioning of Salesforce environments and ensure the efficient and scalable deployment of Salesforce solutions.
Key duties and responsibilities
- Design and implement automation utilising custom application such as Salesforce CLI plugin or NodeJS based applications which will replace the current manual steps involved in while provisioning Salesforce Sandboxes.
- Classify the most optimal automation, UI/API or integrating existing tooling for designing automation.
- Identify issues and/or errors and support the resolution of any technical problems that arise during iterations.
- Define and iterate the roadmap required to achieve provisioning environments rapidly.
- Support designing, building, testing, and integrating these applications/scripts into CI/CD stack
- Demonstrable experience in building Salesforce CLI plugins that automate environment provisioning. You must have expereince on enterprise Salesforce automation
- Experience with Salesforce Tooling API and consuming the same in NodeJS (Javascript/Typescript).
- Experience with Salesforce plugins such as sfdx-hardis and browserforce.
- At least 2 to 3 years’ experience a role involving development of full stack applications on NodeJs using frameworks such as React/Vue/Next.js.
- Demonstrate effective communication for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience in building Salesforce CLI plugins that automate environment provisioning. Must have worked on enterprise Salesforce automation
- Demonstrated analytical skills and attention to detail with a passion for driving quality through automation.
- You must provide a pitch to address all criteria specified.
