  • 12-month contract | $1100 + super | Large NSW Government agency
  • SAP ABAP Developer with 8+ years' experience in RICEFW, EDI/IDOC, SRM, FI & HR
  • Hybrid work: Eveleigh location with 2-3 office days per fortnight

A large NSW Government agency is looking for an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join their established team. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to impactful projects while collaborating with cross-functional teams in Finance, HR, Security, and Project Management.
You’ll be stepping into a role to backfill an internal move—working with passionate professionals who value collaboration, autonomy, and a strong problem-solving mindset.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, support, and maintain SAP solutions across modules like SRM, FI, and HR.
  • Build and optimise Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, and Workflows (RICEFW).
  • Manage high-volume data processing and performance tuning.
  • Integrate with EDI/IDOC, ABAP Proxy interfaces, and Webdynpro components.
  • Apply SAP Enhancement Frameworks and Object-Oriented ABAP.
  • Troubleshoot issues and liaise closely with key business stakeholders.

About You

  • 8+ years of strong SAP ABAP development experience.
  • Proven track record with EDI, IDOC, ABAP OO, and SRM-HR-FI integrations.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a dynamic team environment.
  • Detail-oriented, yet pragmatic and outcome-focused.
  • Excellent communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Solution Manager (ChaRM) and performance optimization tools is highly regarded.
  • Government experience is a bonus, but not essential.
