About the role
It’s an individual contributor role
- 3+ years of experience in a release mgmt./co-ordination or similar role within a complex technology eco-system
- Strong release management experience implementing & driving release management best practices and governance standards at scale.
- Ability to plan, manage & deliver multiple integrated releases applying different release approaches, whilst ensuring adherence to change management processes
- Solid understanding of modern software delivery approaches (CI/CD, DevOps, Test Automation etc) and agile ways of working
- Proven ability to prioritise tasks, work to deadlines and manage complex tasks with a continuous improvement & proactive risk management mindset
- Experience with development of release roadmaps, release checklists etc and producing accurate & concise documentation
- Facilitation of sessions including release planning, implementation co-ordination, blameless port-mortems (Post incident reviews) etc
- Proven Team player willing to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Proven experience in business and IT relationship management; working in/with matrix structures and influencing senior business and technology leaders
Your key accountability
- Develop and maintain release roadmap across all Claims Platform releases that aligns with business priorities and technical milestones
- Establish and enforce release management processes, policies, and standards to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements (e.g., security, regulatory).
- Engage/Co-ordinate with platform delivery leads & various implementations teams to ensure release requirements are met, and dependencies are managed
- Ensuring release & process changes are effectively communicated to stakeholders & internal teams in alignment with Enterprise release management framework/standards
- Identify, assess, mitigate and escalate risks associated with releases as required.
- Drive/Lead change management processes related to releases, ensuring proper approval, documentation, and version control.
- Provide high quality advice, guidance and support on queries related to release governance best practices & standards.
