Lam Nguyen

Lam is a Recruitment Lead in M&T Resources’ QLD team, working across both the Queensland Government and Commercial sectors. While Lam recruits across a broad range of technology roles, she particularly enjoys sourcing for Cloud and Security positions, where the right match often depends on understanding both technical capability and team fit.

Lam’s career in recruitment began through a referral from a friend. What started as an introduction to the industry became a career she has continued to build, shaped by strong relationships, curiosity and the satisfaction of seeing people progress.

Born in Brisbane, Lam has remained closely connected to the local market and brings that understanding into the way she works with candidates and clients. She is especially strong at building trusted relationships with candidates, taking the time to understand where they have been, what they are looking for and how the right opportunity could help them move forward.

Lam was drawn to M&T Resources after hearing great things about the business and the team. A referral helped open the door, but the culture and reputation of the organisation made it feel like the right place to continue growing her recruitment career.

She is driven by the opportunity to contribute to organisational growth and innovation, whether that is by supporting hiring teams, helping candidates take their next step or playing a part in the broader success of the business.

Outside of work, Lam enjoys cooking and spending time with friends. She also appreciates a quiet day at home, especially when it involves settling in and binge watching a good TV show.
