M&T Resources announces Steve Tompkins as new Regional Manager NSW
M&T Resources appoints Steve Tompkins as Regional Manager for New South Wales. Steve takes over from Paul Hutchinson, who was promoted to General Manager of M&T Resources in November 2017.
Steve Tompkins joined M&T Resources in May 2018 and has spent six months heading up the Government and Commercial team in NSW. Tompkins has focused on building strategic partnerships for M&T Resources within the Sydney market including M&T’s Gold Partnership with the Project Management Institute (PMI) Sydney Chapter and entry onto multiple new panels such as the NSW Government 0020 Scheme.
For Steve, his passion lies in the opportunity to elevate the M&T Resources brand in the market, with a focus on increasing M&T’s presence across major accounts and key specialist areas.

Steve brings to the M&T Resources over 19 years of experience specialising in technology recruitment both in Australia and the UK, including 11.5 years at Paxus and more recently as General Manager of Horizon Consulting. Tompkins also brings to M&T his strong ties to the Project Management community as Associate Director for Career Development of the PMI Sydney Chapter. He recently organised and delivered the inaugural PMI Career Week and is a Career Coach to several Senior Project Managers.
